There are several good cafes and restaurants on Boundary Road and nearby on Abbey Road. Please ask staff for recommendations.

Access needs:

  • Ben Uri has a wheelchair ramp that can be arranged immediately if necessary but preferable with 15 minutes' notice of arrival.
  • Ben Uri Gallery is on two floors with a staircase but regrettably no lift or escalator. There is a support bar following the staircase down from the ground floor but it is relatively steep with relatively short steps – and was not designed all these years ago for those with difficulties.
  • There is a monitor/screen located on the ground floor that often shows either a film about the artist or the actual exhibition as currently shown on the lower floor. This adding to the visitor engagement.
  • We have audio guides available further adding to the visitor experience.
  • All wall text panels including picture details are in large font to make it easier for those who may need.

If there are any special needs or requirements please call 020 7604 3991 or email info@benuri.org.uk with details and we will make every effort to accommodate.
